Terms and Conditions

These Terms of Service govern creating an album and collecting memories with GetGatherQR.

1. Who operates GetGatherQR

GetGatherQR is operated by Rienda Rahmawati, based in Indonesia. For service, privacy or billing questions, contact support@getgatherqr.com. These terms apply to hosts and guests using getgatherqr.com. By using the service you agree to these terms.

2. Albums and plans

GetGatherQR is browser-based photo-sharing software for events. Hosts create an album, share its QR code or guest link, control guest uploads and gallery visibility, and download individual photos or an album ZIP. Guests can contribute without creating an account.

The free plan includes up to 25 photos for 7 days from album creation. When available, the Full event upgrade is a one-time purchase of USD $12.99 per event for up to 500 photos and 12 months of access from payment activation. It is not a subscription and does not renew automatically. The final price, currency and applicable taxes are shown at checkout before purchase. Paid checkout may be unavailable while launch approval is pending.

3. Your account and content

Keep account credentials and album management links secure. You retain ownership of your photos and captions. You give us permission to store, process, resize and display them only as necessary to provide and secure the service according to your album settings.

Upload only content you have the right to share, with any required permission from the people pictured. Do not upload unlawful, abusive or infringing content, exploit children, distribute malware, bypass limits or interfere with the service. We may restrict access or remove content when reasonably necessary to address a violation, security issue or legal obligation. Contact support to question a restriction.

4. Sharing and photo quality

Anyone who has an active guest link or QR code can open the guest page. Guests can view photos only when the host enables the gallery. Hosts can disable guest access and uploads. Treat shared links as access credentials; recipients can pass them on. Previously issued photo links may work for up to 10 minutes after access changes, and downloaded copies cannot be recalled.

Uploads are converted to JPEG, resized to a maximum dimension of 2560 pixels and stripped of embedded EXIF metadata. This service does not preserve original files. Keep your own originals and download any photos you want to retain.

5. Expiry and deletion

Access ends when the trial or paid period expires. Albums and their photos become eligible for permanent deletion 30 days after that expiry; this grace period does not extend access. Hosts can also permanently delete an album earlier. Deletion cannot recall copies other people downloaded. Do not use GetGatherQR as your only backup.

6. Payments and refunds

When live payments are enabled, Polar acts as the authorised reseller and Merchant of Record for purchases made through its checkout. Polar processes payments and provides transaction receipts. Its buyer terms apply to the transaction alongside these service terms. See our refund policy for requests and applicable rights. A free trial does not automatically charge you.

7. Availability and your rights

We work to keep the service available, but maintenance, provider outages and security controls can interrupt it. Contact us if purchased features are unavailable so we can investigate or arrange an appropriate remedy. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We may update these terms for future use and indicate the revised date here. Material changes affecting an existing paid service will be communicated through available contact details. Changes do not remove rights attached to an existing purchase.
